Menswear Singapore
Here’s why I stopped buying men shirts in Singapore. IT’S WAY TOO HOT HERE! This year round summer weather is killing me.
Talk about dressing up on the weekend to go town. The moment I stepped out of my house, I can feel my butt sweating beneath my jeans. That Oxford shirt starting to stick to my chest and perspiration starts coming down my forehead.
I love fashion. I really do. But not to the extend it cost my comfort.
Ok enough ranting.
Thankfully, I’ve found this article a few days ago where they recommend 3 of the top brands in Singapore to buy the essential Tee. Do check that article out - www.menswearsingapore.com
In essence, these 3 brands were featured: Sifr, MUJI and Uniqlo.
I’ve already owned a couple of MUJI’s essential tee (one in charcoal color, one in navy blue color). So I got out two weeks ago and bought myself one from Uniqlo and another from Sifr.
Here’s my review of all three of the brands:
MUJI – The essential tee from MUJI has the best fit among the three brands. It’s also the thicker one among the three. They are really comfortable and can last for a really long time. I opt for the MUJI tees when I know my day will mostly be indoors, or on days when the weather is more cooling.
Sifr – Sifr’s Pima cotton tee is really comfortable and cooling. It’s super lightweight but with that I do see my nipples being quite obvious when I wear them. Sifr’s pima cotton tees are quite expensive to be honest and there are excess fabric dye coming out on the first few washes. All in all I would still recommend you guys give it a try. Really good to have one of these in your wardrobe.
Uniqlo – These are really valued for money. I would say the pima cotton tees from Uniqlo is in the middle of Sifr and MUJI where its not that thin or as thick. What’s best is the vey reasonable price tag that came with the tee. I shall try the sports wear soon.
To be fair, I haven been wearing them long enough to tell if their quality can last; but so far so good.
